How many miles is a lot for a 2001 Harley Davidson Road King.?

I am thinking of buying this bike for $ 9000. Has 58,000 miles and I am concerned this is too many miles. He seems to be well maintained, no leaks.

One mile and the teeth become loose from vibration. Two miles and is deaf squelch all the forts that are trying to cover the engine and transmission noises. Three miles and they wonder why a big engine seems to have zero energy. Any miles is long for a Harley.

Passenger Seat for Road King Harley?

What are your tips for riding a passenger on a 2007 Harley Road King? We are looking into the seats Sundowner, does anyone know any better than that? Also, considering that he has never carried a passenger on a motorcycle, what are your suggestions for the driver and passengers? (I just know it feels real yet). Thanks ya'll!

I had 2 Roadkings, 95 and 99. I bought my seats from Saddlemen, sofas are called road. I got mine with leather sides and tops of red velvet. They also make a call Explorer. You can have them made for you and your passengers measurements. Also have gel seat on both seats. Best seat ever sat on my wife and loved them too. Checking your web site. PS all you have to do is sit in the back and look cute, which can make all supported.

Harley Davidson Ultra

In a Harley Davidson motorcycle is something that can not be explained unless you have experienced. Expressions used in an effort to explain it is that special feeling, as if you're flying, the feeling of the wind passing through you … The need not to spoil that special feeling, protection should be first. After buying a bike helmet should be next, as the most important.

You should consider a few things in the purchase of Harley Davidson Helmets. We can begin with the fact how much of his head the helmet actually covers. Shell three quarter helmet covers most of the head and provides protection while driving, but not as good protection as a motorcycle helmet, which is good for racing motorcycles. Least half helmet provides protection Shell, which covers only half the head.

Harley Davidson helmets are made of different materials that affect the level of protection provided. Some materials are stronger and others are not. Made of thermoplastic helmets are heavy and so uncomfortable. They provide the lowest level of protection. Material stronger than Harley Davidson helmets are made of fiberglass is. It provides more protection, its properties make it lighter and more comfortable using. Harley Ultra-light Hybrid helmets are made of a mixture of two materials results in the production, as the name suggests, ultra lightweight helmet with extra protection. Moreover, the best protection Available offers carbon Kevlar helmets. It is the lightest of all and the most expensive.

Given all these facts, at least you know what is for you to choose. If money is no problem, go for the best protection available, and they may cost much more than the price of the helmet. If money is an issue, go with the best that can allowed because each will provide more protection then without a helmet on his head. Think about it.

For most people, how the town will look at them is a priority. Not take into account only that, but the style of mixing and protection and you will win.

Protect Yourself with Harley Davidson Helmets and enjoy motorcycle riding.

How much should I expect to pay for my Harley Davidson Electra Glide paint 2 tone?

I have an Electra Glide 2001, it used to be a bicycle old cop. Unfortunalty everything is white. I wanted it painted a 2 tone, but I wanted to get an idea of what the budget.

This is where The fun starts ….. shop, shop, shop. talk, talk, talk. The HD community is full of connections and experts point to where you want to be. Because they have published this issue indicates they do not feel inclined to bring down the sled and make your painter of choice plastic. So cans and the fact that there is a full bagger, Bola towing or any mod tone paint will be a great job. Do not let anyone fool you, it will be as if it is meant to stop the bike and when picked up, its the way you planned! If you beat these charges, he did great, as long as the quality that is the bike now Good Luck.

Harley Davidson Night

When most people think of a Harley-Davidson, the first image that comes to mind is a powerful, snarling, big motorcycle, traveling with Friends 1500 of drinking black dress with a beard along the following broad. The 2008 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod is the Harley that breaks the image. Dressed in black, and the motorcycle Dracula ride more likely, the VRSCDX Night Rod is a bad trip in the ass. Made in the USA, the Night Rod is taking place for runners who want a little more excitement of your trip. There is no shortage of complaints from the Harley-Davidson motorcycle is actually a really wild sounds, and as pilots, who announce that it is authoritative presence.

Harley-Davidson jumped into the market in 2002 with the performance and drools VROD came from the motorcycle community. The VROD is a forward thinking, new design, the model arises from a blank slate, with nothing taken from past years styles.

You have to give Harley-Davidson a lot of credit for not staying with the same old styles that have worked well for them over the years. For this company to grow with the market, necessary to produce a model that goes against the grain, and the VROD was a slam-dunk for them. Harley offers a model that was as sporty as they came and took market share from imports, and yet left its North American market happy you could buy a bike with serious internal performance!

The 2008 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX, Night Rod, has a 1250cc engine that produces 125 hp force at 62 rpm and 85 lb-ft of torque at 7000 RPM. The engine is liquid cooled and the brakes are 4 piston front and rear. The VROD is already a legend in the Harley lineup and will for years to come.
