Mountain biking?
I'd like to get a new bike soon. I live in a very urban area, so I initially thought that a road bike would suit me best, but you'd use when I go camping and stuff. If I need a bike for both pavement and rough terrain, would be a mountain bike to be my best option? I know about hybrids, but I am told by many people who do not make sense and are not really great for anything, I just can both roads and Off Road.
Nick, most fans away with multiple cycle rides. Most people I know have at least 3 bike road, mountain bike, whisk in the city. if you own a bike now, maybe that one is destined to be the beater. slap some stains on it, and clean transmission. As for his next trip, if you want to mount a single subject, that his friends are right in the middle of obtaining a rigid MTB range. if you have no bike that can function as their beater of the city, look into getting a set of wheels chirp, and put patches on it. if you can only afford a second set of tires, and not the shaft, thats ok, it's just easier the work of the quick release, instead of sharing a tire ..
