How can I make the brake pad sensor light out of my 1999 mercury cougar?
After replacing the Brake Pads on all 4 wheels of light is not extinguished. The brake pads come with sensor wires in them. No brake pad sensor and tried to separate the battery disconnect thing too.
Check sensor wiring up. Often when change looms on the brakes, pull the cable holder and back out again to do it and rub on the rim or even the edge of the rotor or face. I bet your problem is there.
