What is the black belt for the uniform of the Chicago Bulls during the NBA Finals 91-92?
I searched everywhere, but can not find information on the small black patch that looked like a strip of black tape on the Bulls front left shoulder. I'm watching Game 1 of the finals, but I sure I was there in other games as well. I'm curious and I appreciate anyone who can help me learn more about this. thanks
That is a great question. I had seen that on several occasions in recent years but had never looked into it (so far). It was in honor of an employee for long in the organization of the Bulls, who had died. Sheri L. Berto, who had been long Bulls Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf time assistant, was very popular in the organization. On 23 November 1991, Sheri died suddenly from internal bleeding, while one patient diagnosed at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois. During the rest of the 1991-92 season, the team wore black patches on their jerseys in memory of Sheri. When the team opened its new training facility in September 1992, was appointed the Sheri L.
